Summer  2020-2021


The summer series of Thursday Afternoon Go Sailing (TAGS)  comprises of 2 series of 11 races each

Although Covid-19 restrictions are easing, we must still adhere to NSW Public Health Orders in respect of COVID-19.  

What does this mean for us ?

  • Full contact allowed during training and competition with no limits on crew numbers;
  • If you are unwell, please do not participate;
  • Social distancing of 1.5m when not training or competiting must be adhered to at all times;
  • Record keeping (Contact tracing) must be kept for all participants, spectators, and officials.

Expected behaviour onboard and on the dock:

  • Practice good hand hygiene before and after sailing;
  • Avoid physical contact;
  • Don’t share drinks or towels;
  • Skippers to make note of crew aboard in case required for tracing purposes.

We hope at some time during series 2 to re-instate after race BBQ's hosted  by Multihull Central on the marina lawn, at 20 Chapman Road, Annandale, until that time we invite participants to return to the Multihull Central Marina lawn for drinks  (BYO) and nibbles  for race results and review.

Multihull Central is a registered Covid-19 safe business, all attendants are required to check in by scanning the QR code displayed on entry, and adhere to directions of Multihull Central and MCYC.  Click  COVID 19 Safety Requirements for  further details.


Entry fees for this series are as follows :-

All Race Pass                                    $150.00 (members only), Click here to purchase your pass.

Member Individual Race Entry          $25.00

Non-Member Individual Race Entry  $30.00


The second series is a pursuit race, start time will be staggerred from 5:15pm, skippers must register for each race by midnight on the evening before race day,  individual race start times will be published on the website by Midday on race day. The start line for all boats will be the transit line defined by the port hand channel mark located immediately north of Garden Island, and the Robertsons Point Light (at Cremorne Point). Notice of race and sailing instructions can be found by clicking NOR and Sailing Instruction TAGS Summer 2021 Ver 1
