The Movember Foundation is the only global charity focused solely on men’s health, so this Movember we are getting on board. As an MCYC team we are hoping to raise funds to tackle some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and poor mental health.

This year MCYC is organising Movember fundraising. Whether you are a business man, builder, plumber or after eight man become a MoBro and start growing your chosen mo to help support this great charity.  If you’re a female don’t worry you can become a MoSista and join the step challenge moving 60 miles in November, one mile for each man lost to suicide every hour, every day. These are our fathers, brothers, sons and friends.

The MCYC team is open to all MCYC members, families and friends, so get onboard for a great cause,  join the MCYC team.

On Thursday 3rd December we will be running a special Movember Tags Race, all multihulls will be required to race with a giant mo on the bow (supplied by MCYC). After the race come join us for lasagne and chianti on the lawn at Multihull Central Marina, Annandale, where we will judge the mos’, awarding prizes for best mo, and highest fundraiser, all members, skippers, crew, and familly welcome.  If you are not in Sydney and cant make it to the judging, send us a photo of your mo to by close of business on November 30, to be in the running for a prize.
